Greetings and Salutations! We have some updates to share with you today, starting with something that's been cooking for a long time:

Record Metadata

We've added some extra fields to the edit-screen for the different record types. The fields were carefully considered so as not to create too much clutter, but to also be useful. Each record has different fields:

• Players: Age, Race, Class
• Locations: Type, Demographics, Population
• Npcs: Age, Race, Class
• Creations: Type
• History: Duration

There might be more added, but we'll (almost) certainly be keeping these.

You can start to fill these in for your own records by clicking on the record title to edit:

This feature, while nice to have, is also important because it enables something long-requested:

Filtering

If you've spent a while using Lore Frog, you'll have noticed your sidebar grows quite large. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to only see Towns in your Location section, or to only see Shopkeeps in the NPCs? Well, now you can do just that!

We've used some (though not all) of the new meta fields to provide dynamic filters based on the existing meta values.

Important note: If you haven't added any meta to your record, you won't see the filters.

Show Group Members

One extra filter we added is the "Show Group Members" toggle, a request from Discord user jude_ciranttaljaard way back when, and more recently from snivelak.

The filters have also been made available to the public versions of the universes.

Secret Images

Another Discord request, from Lordus, which was more of a reminder of something we forgot! You can now toggle secrets-mode for images as well.
